Dr. Sugiyama received his DDS degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He spent his undergraduate career at Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor of science degree in the field of exercise science. Dr. Sugiyama stays up to date with current techniques and information by being a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and CEREC study group. To provide you with the finest care he has also spent numerous hours in continuing education courses and lectures. At times Dr. Sugiyama can also be found volunteering his time at the Kids In Need of Dentistry clinic in Denver. Dr. Sugiyama is married to his lovely wife Connie and together they enjoy all of the outdoor fun Colorado has to offer. Some of their interests include: hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and skiing. Some of his personal hobbies also include basketball, softball, and golf.


Upon graduation from BYU-Idaho with a degree in horticulture, Kimberlea and her husband Wade, moved to Castle Rock where she entered the dental field. She spent three years working at a dental office in Denver, then in fall 2015 she joined the Cedar Mountain Family team. In her free time Kimberlea enjoys spending time with her family, baking, gardening, and she also enjoys hiking in the mountains with her two Alaskan Malamutes Leo and Bella.


Carrie came to the Cedar Mountain Family team in 2018. She values good relationships with patients and colleagues and enjoys learning more in the field of dentistry every day. Previously, she was a stay at home mom with her two kids. In her free time, she likes to ride horses and take care of all her animals on her small ranch.


Sarah graduated from dental assisting school in June of 2016 and was so excited to become apart of the Cedar Mountain Family Dentistry team later that month! She loves working with patients and helping them achieve happy and healthy smiles. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family and friends.


Brent is a native of Colorado and grew up in Englewood. He began his dental career as an assistant in 2006, worked up to an expanded duties dental assistant, and then decided to obtain a degree in Dental Hygiene. Brent graduated with high honors and received the Colorado Dental Hygiene
Association’s clinical excellence award for top clinician in his class. He thoroughly enjoys the wonderful Colorado outdoors; from snowboarding in the winter to hiking, boating, and riding his motorcycle in the summer. He has two boys Graeme and Brecken that keep him very active
within their sports, especially lacrosse.
